Our client are a market leading manufacturer, a multisite business with 6 sites UK wide and further sites globally, this business produces a well known product used for multiple purposes in our daily lives. This site is based in Peterborough and has undergone plenty of investment and support to make it a highly productive site. This business is currently undergoing expansion, with a brand-new supersite opening to help with production needs with over 700 million pounds of investment. This site is a modern manufacturing site with a host of conveyor systems, robotics and other manufacturing machinery with tons of on-site training for the right multiskilled engineer.
The Role:
This multiskilled maintenance engineer role will include working on a range of conveyor systems, robotics, furnaces, robotics and cutting tables.
- Reactive maintenance/breakdowns
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Project work and installation
- Fault finding both electrically and mechanically
- 3 phase work, motors, inverters and control panels.
Our client is looking for
- An engineer with a good attitude and aptitude to learn
- A level 3 qualification minimum - NVQ, apprenticeship
- A proactive individual and a team player
